Only a selected few can become the Pontifical Swiss Guards of the Holy See. They must be Catholics, single males with Swiss citizenship and between the age of 19 and 30. They must also own basic training with the Swiss military and hold a professional degree or high school diploma.
What attracts me most to these guards are their uniforms – a vibrant combination of blue, red, orange and yellow with a distinct Renaissance style! – Vatican.
